Robotic Telepresence Current State of the Art… Still Not Quite There

Lots of progress on robot telepresence has happened over the last five years.  WSJ recently did an experiment with robot telepresence, but ended up opting for travel and face to face over buying a robot – the writer’s conclusion was that “person-to-robot can’t replace person-to-person… yet”.
