More Wireframe Tools, or “As far as the customer is concerned, the interface is the product”

A good quote that always stands out in my mind relative to the importance of the user experience of a product is “As far as the customer is concerned, the interface is the product“. Capturing and conveying the interface and user experience is key to a successful project delivery.
Today there are an ever increasing number of tools available to support capture, refinement and collaboration. Below are a few of the tools currently available (my top three are called out at the end):
- Pencil Project
- Just in Mind
- Lumzy
- Mockup Builder
- Cacoo
- Mockabilly
- Mockingbird
- Lovely Charts
- Gliffy
- Mockflow
- Simple Diagram
- HotGloo
- iRise
- Mockup Screens
- Azure
- Pidoco
- Protoshare
- ForeUI
- DUB Denim
- GUI Design Studio
Lots of choices, however the top three from my perspective remain:
- OmniGraffle
- Balsamiq
- Paper and Pen, Whiteboard, Napkins – an interesting approach related to these mediums is “Paper Prototyping“.
Any other tools you feel are worthy of being called out?
